A cancer diagnosis not only affects your body, but also your emotional well-being. Emotional support for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers is available through support groups. Support groups are offered to allow cancer patients to gather, share their struggles and provide guidance and support to one another.

We treat both the medical and emotional aspects of cancer at TriStar Health hospitals. So we give you access to a variety of support resources starting on day one of your diagnosis.

Local cancer support

Finding support when you're already overwhelmed can feel like another mountain to climb, so we do the work for you and make sure that you have easy access to the resources you need.

Not everyone's cancer experience looks or feels the same. That's why we provide you with a variety of options when it comes to finding support, so that you can choose what works best for you and your circumstances.

Nurse navigators

Finding your way through the maze of appointments, medical terminology and new treatment plans is often overwhelming and stressful. To make it easier, we pair you with a nurse navigator help you and your family manage the emotional and mental challenges that come with cancer. Additionally, they coordinate and schedule your care while helping you understand your treatment plan.

Support groups

Many people struggle with feelings of loneliness and loss when facing treatment for cancer. Getting to know others who are confronting the same challenges as you can bring comfort during the hard times, and shared joy in the good times.
