Joint Commission Public Notice

The Joint Commission will conduct an unannounced survey of this organization to evaluate the organization’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded the organization.

Anyone believing that they have pertinent and valid information about such matters may request a public information interview with The Joint Commission’s field representatives at the time of the survey. Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the accreditation process. The request must also indicate the nature of the information to be provided at the interview. Such requests should be addressed to:

• Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital was designated as a Magnet organization in 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In July 2023, Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital is applying for re-designation.
• Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so. Anyone may send comments via e-mail and direct mail. .
• Your comments must be received by the Magnet Program Office by July 7, 2023

NOTE: All comments are CONFIDENTIAL and are not shared with the health care organization. Comments may be anonymous, but they must be sent in writing to the Magnet Program Office.
