The Patient Safety Advocate Award celebrates an employee who promotes patient safety and high-quality, exceptional care.

Nominate an employee

The Patient Safety Advocate Award program will recognize employees who identify safety issues and create a solution to affect the overall care of our patients and reinforce TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s commitment to recognizing outstanding performance.

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center presents The Patient Safety Advocate Award quarterly to an employee who provides safe, effective, timely, patient-centered, and  high-quality care to all patients.

Selection criteria are based on more than an employee doing the essential functions of their job; it includes protecting patients, being the voice of the patients, providing high-quality healthcare, establishing interpersonal relationships, and educating patients above and beyond the call of duty by being an advocate for the patient.

In addition, the individual must also embody the following 6 domains of safety:

  • Establish a compelling vision for safety
  • Value trust, respect and Inclusion
  • Select, develop and engage the board
  • Prioritize safety in the selection and development of leaders
  • Lead and reward a just culture
  • Establish organizational behavior expectations

Patients, visitors, vendors, co-workers, and leadership members may nominate a deserving employee by filling out form below.
