TriStar Hendersonville welcomes Taylor Young-Sawyer as chief operating officer

HENDERSONVILLE, TN – TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is pleased to welcome Taylor Young-Sawyer as chief operating officer. Young-Sawyer most recently served as vice president of operations at TriStar Summit Medical Center where she managed several support service departments and led multiple expansion projects.

“We are excited to have Taylor join our family at TriStar Hendersonville,” said Justin Coury, chief executive officer. “Taylor’s expertise and enthusiasm will help guide our hospital as we continue to grow our services to meet the needs of the Sumner County community.”

Originally from Denver, Young-Sawyer received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder. She also received her masters of science in health administration and her masters of business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Young-Sawyer has been with HCA Healthcare since 2019. She spent one year as an administrative resident with TriStar Health before becoming an associate administrator and vice president of operations at TriStar Summit.

Young-Sawyer and her husband Kit have been married a year and enjoy traveling, skiing and golfing.
