Emergency care is the treatment of emergent medical conditions. It is generally performed in an emergency room, but can also refer to treatment in an ambulance. In addition to life-threatening conditions, emergency medicine physicians may treat patients with injuries or infections.

We offer a specialized 24/7 emergency room for women with OB/GYN emergencies.

OB/GYN emergency services

Our staff consists of board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists who can immediately assess and treat a variety of conditions. We also provide information on follow-up care as well as information concerning signs and symptoms that may require re-evaluation.

Pregnancy-related emergencies

If you are pregnant or think you might be, our ER can provide you with swift medical care. The most common issues that can arise include acute abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding or a combination of both. Our staff addresses your specific healthcare needs while making you feel cared for and understood.

Gynecological and urologic emergencies

We treat a range of women's gynecological conditions. Common symptoms we see include excessive vaginal bleeding, severe menstrual pain and abdominal pain.

Urologic emergencies may include the same symptoms. They may also include extreme pressure in your lower abdomen, pain or burning while urinating, difficulty urinating or a red bulge in the vaginal opening.
