Dr. Jordan Stokes

"I want to give back to the community that has given so much to me." — Dr. Jordan Stokes

TriStar Horizon ER physician Dr. Jordan Stokes is proud to call McEwen home. A graduate of McEwen High School — just like his parents and grandparents before him — Dr. Stokes grew up immersed in sports, ultimately finding his passion in football. His talent earned him a spot as quarterback at UT Martin, before pursuing medical school in Kentucky and completing residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

With his training complete, Dr. Stokes returned home to begin his career and give back to the community he credits with giving so much to him. He returned to the sidelines each Friday night not only to help coach his alma mater, but also to provide medical care when needed.

Dr. Stokes embodies the heart of Horizon: dedicated to being present for life’s most important moments and committed to showing up for our community. He is part of an ER team that’s always here when you need us — working 24/7 to deliver high‑quality care close to home.
