Lebanon, TN — TriStar Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, announced today it is moving forward with plans to build TriStar Lebanon ER after being granted a Certificate of Need by the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission.
The $18 million facility will expand access to high-quality, 24/7 emergency care for residents in Lebanon and surrounding communities. Located at the intersection of Willard Hagan Drive and South Hartmann Drive, TriStar Lebanon ER will include 11 treatment rooms, including one trauma room, on-site laboratory services and imaging capabilities.
“TriStar Lebanon ER represents an important investment in the future of Lebanon and the surrounding communities we serve,” said Cindy Bergmeier, chief executive officer of TriStar Summit. “As Wilson County continues to grow, this new emergency room will help ensure patients can access high-quality emergency care close to home when every minute matters.”
Wilson County is one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing counties, with more than 171,000 residents and projected growth of 11% by 2030. TriStar Lebanon ER will provide a more convenient emergency care location for patients in Lebanon and surrounding communities, building on TriStar Summit’s continued investment in Wilson County.
“We are grateful for the support from community leaders, residents and patients throughout this process,” Bergmeier added. “The need for access to emergency care in Lebanon remains a priority for the community and we are proud to continue investing in the health and well- being of Wilson County families.”
The Certificate of Need was granted following the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission’s approval of TriStar Summit’s proposed Agreed Order, clearing the way for the project to move forward and expand emergency care access in Lebanon.
