"Clarksville is growing at a tremendous rate, and we are thrilled to move forward with a hospital designed to meet the evolving needs of this vibrant community,” said Mitch Edgeworth, president of HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division. “This approval allows us to bring high-quality, accessible care closer to home for Clarksville families. We are grateful to the thousands of people in Clarksville and Montgomery County who supported our project and made this approval possible.”
The project received overwhelming community support, with more than 1,300 residents submitting letters and over 20,000 people signing a petition in favor of the hospital. Federal, state and local leaders also voiced strong support.
The new hospital is expected to create more than 200 healthcare jobs and provide critical infrastructure for the region’s continued growth.
