NASHVILLE, Tenn. — TriStar Centennial Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, has named Matthew Hickey as vice president of human resources. In this role, Hickey will lead human resources strategies by overseeing talent management, employee engagement, compliance and workforce planning for the 741-bed facility.

During Matthew’s time with HCA Healthcare, he has helped reduce colleague turnover, increased engagement scores and led efforts for HCA Healthcare’s Hope Fund giving,” said Tom Ozburn, chief executive officer at TriStar Centennial. “His commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive workplace culture has been evident throughout his career.”

Hickey began his tenure at HCA Healthcare in the East Florida Division in 2018 as a human resources business partner at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. He was later promoted to vice president of human resources at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital and most recently served as vice president of human resources at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital.
