Toug Tanavin, MD

Dr. Tanavin is originally from Southern California and subsequently grew up in North Texas. He obtained a Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas in Austin and subsequently his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Outside of work, his time is spent with his wife Kelly, their daughter Maddie and dog Rory. He has a particular clinical interest in coronary interventions. Dr. Tanavin believes in augmenting patient care through compassion and humility.
