Care Philosophy
My goal is to help patients determine the treatment options that best fit their circumstances, lifestyle and wishes. Ultimately, I want them to have a good quality of life while fighting cancer .
I care about my patient’s welfare and recommend the treatments and clinical trials that I think are the best options for them. I know that many of my patients are going through the scariest time in their lives and I do whatever I can to support them. I find my work to be very rewarding.
When patients participate in a clinical trial, they receive the standard of care or better. They have the opportunity to try a new treatment that may work better than the current standard of care. Not only does this research help the generations behind us, but it can also help current trial participants now.
Research is such a crucial component of oncology—it gives us hope. There’s never been a more exciting time in the field of cancer research.
