"We have a world class surgical team here at TriStar NorthCrest..."
Springfield, Tenn. — TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is one of 90 hospitals nationwide to be recognized by The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP®) for achieving meritorious outcomes for surgical patient care in 2020.
“We have a world class surgical team here at TriStar NorthCrest and are honored to have ACS NSQIP® recognize the patient care they provide,” says Randy Davis, Chief Executive Officer of TriStar NorthCrest. “We congratulate the TriStar NorthCrest surgical team for their hard work on earning this recognition.”
As a participant in ACS NSQIP®, TriStar NorthCrest tracks the outcomes of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures and collects data that assesses patient safety and helps to improve the quality of surgical care. TriStar NorthCrest received the additional honor of being recognized in both the “All Cases” and “High Risk” categories.
The goal of ACS NSQIP is to improve surgical quality and to provide a firm foundation for surgeons to apply what is known as the “best scientific evidence” to the practice of surgery. ACS NSQIP® is a major program of the American College of Surgeons and is currently used in nearly 850 adult and pediatric hospitals.
