TriStar NorthCrest enhances women's healthcare services
Providing quality care for women in Springfield and surrounding communities remains top priority
Springfield, TN – Tristar NorthCrest Medical Center is continuing to invest in the healthcare needs of Robertson County through providing advanced women’s services in obstetrics, gynecology and breast cancer screening. In addition to traditional OB care, starting in April, the hospital will have a 24/7 midwife program so women in the community can receive obstetrical care close to home with a personalized and comprehensive care experience. TriStar NorthCrest is also expanding surgical capabilities with non-invasive robotic surgery for gynecological procedures, and 3D mammography will also be available to patients to better screen for breast cancer.
“With the population growth of Robertson County, women’s health remains one of our most important and necessary services,” said Sean Patterson, chief executive officer at TriStar NorthCrest. “We want to provide quality care close to home for women of all ages, and these investments are a testament to our commitment to ensure our community has access to the healthcare services they need.”
TriStar NorthCrest understands that giving birth is an exciting time, filled with many emotions. The hospital is pleased to welcome Diana Health, a provider focused on obstetrical and gynecological care, to enhance women’s services that focus on individualized birth plans, compassionate care and comprehensive services in our community.
“Our team is committed to providing an unforgettable experience with quality, safe care for mothers and babies,” said Ashley Lambert, TriStar NorthCrest Birth Center manager. “We are excited to expand Women’s Health Services and continue to serve those in our community during life-changing moments.”
TriStar NorthCrest was recently recertified as a national Safe Sleep Hospital in January of 2023. The National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program recognizes hospitals that have committed to making babies as safe as possible in their sleep environments.
