TriStar Hendersonville received an "A" hospital safety grade for Spring 2023, the fourth consecutive period the hospital has earned the highest rating.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group for spring 2023, the fourth consecutive period the hospital has earned the highest rating. The national distinction recognizes TriStar Hendersonville’s achievements in protecting patients from harm and error while in the hospital. 

“TriStar Hendersonville is committed to a culture of safety where we strive daily to give our patients the best care possible in a safe environment,” said Justin Coury, chief executive officer at TriStar Hendersonville. “Our physicians and colleagues are dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to every patient, and our recent achievements and awards showcase this commitment.” 

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harm to patients. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Hospital Safety Grade results are based on more than 30 national performance measures and are updated each fall and spring.
