HCA Healthcare TriStar Division announced today that Fred Ashworth has been named chief financial officer. In this role, Ashworth will oversee financial operations and strategy for the division, supporting growth, operational performance and the resources needed to deliver high-quality care across the TriStar Division facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Ashworth most recently served as chief financial officer for HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division, a role he has held since March 2022. His career with HCA Healthcare includes serving as chief financial officer at Orange Park Medical Center, Los Robles Regional Medical Center and Regional Medical Center San Jose and Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals. Throughout these roles, he has helped lead operational performance, long-term growth and high-performing teams.

Ashworth earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia Southern University.
