TriStar Skyline Medical Center breaks ground on East Nashville emergency room
Nashville, Tenn. — On Tuesday, September 30, TriStar Skyline Medical Center celebrated the groundbreaking of TriStar East Nashville ER, a new emergency care facility located at 800 Dickerson Pike.
The $21.4 million, 12,000-square-foot facility will feature 12 emergency treatment rooms and provide 24/7 emergency care to a rapidly growing area of the city. It will also include laboratory services and advanced imaging capabilities including X-ray and CT.
During the ceremony, state Representative Vincent Dixie, Nashville Fire Department deputy director Fred Smith, and Dr. Marshall Hall, chairman of the department of emergency medicine at TriStar Skyline, spoke about the impact the new ER will have for the East Nashville community.
“Timely care saves lives,” said Brian Marger, chief executive officer at TriStar Skyline. “Opening this new ER represents our commitment to meeting the needs of East Nashville’s growing population with high-quality, compassionate care. We’re proud to bring emergency services closer to home, ensuring that when seconds count help is just around the corner.”
TriStar East Nashville ER will be equipped to treat a full range of medical emergencies, including strokes and heart attacks, providing access to higher level of care if needed.
Construction is expected to be completed in May 2026.
