Signs of substance abuse

Substance abuse can occur when you become dependent on alcohol or over-the-counter (OTC), prescription or illegal drugs. It can affect your mental health and negatively influence many areas of your life. Signs of substance abuse can include:

  • Needing more of a drug to feel the same effect
  • Changes in physical health
  • Decrease in performance at school/work
  • Unhealthy behaviors under the influence
  • No interest in things you once enjoyed
  • Trouble maintaining relationships

Addiction and dual-diagnosis treatments we provide

Addiction is a complicated condition that deserves specialized treatment and devoted care. Our goal is to help you safely go through the detoxification process while also addressing underlying behavioral health issues that may contribute to chemical dependency.

Inpatient and outpatient services we offer

Because of the complexity of a dual-diagnosis, also known as co-occurring disorder, we offer multifaceted treatment options. These address both substance abuse and the underlying mental and emotional challenges you may face.

Inpatient care program

Our inpatient program removes you from any external stress that may inhibit successful treatment. The program includes both individual and group therapy sessions led by a chemical dependency specialist, as well as alternative therapies to help reduce stress and anxiety. We will work with you to develop a care plan that works best for you and incorporates therapy strategies and medication, as needed. After your inpatient treatment is complete, you will be able to rely on outpatient care to maintain your sobriety and well-being.

Outpatient care program

Our outpatient substance abuse program helps you identify any personal obstacles associated with substance abuse while allowing you to maintain your daily routine with work, family and/or school. During this time, we support you in achieving and maintaining sobriety. We equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to make decisions that lead to a healthier life. You will also be able to apply these tools directly to your day-to-day routine as you return home and to work after therapy.

Partial hospitalization program (PHP)

PHP is an integrated approach to sobriety. With PHP, you will spend your days with us and your evenings at home, which provides you with support from your family and friends as well as our team of professionals.

The PHP program runs from Monday to Friday to give you the support you need in an environment that works best for you.
